Completed an 8-week engineering internship at Mount Khalid in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad (Jul – Aug 2025), working under the supervision of the General Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Architect on a high-rise residential tower project.
Key Responsibilities & Engineering Scope
- High-Rise BIM Model Development: Contributed to the 3D Building Information Model (BIM) of the high-rise residential tower, modeling structural framing, vertical cores, and floor plates.
- Structural Design Coordination: Assisted the engineering team in reviewing structural layouts, reinforcement schedules, and multi-story load-bearing assemblies.
- Project Planning: Participated in construction scheduling, workflow coordination, and progress tracking across office and field teams.
- On-Site Construction Activities: Conducted regular site inspections of heavy raft/slab reinforcement grids, tower crane operations, and vertical core starter bars to bridge digital BIM models with field execution.
