This project developed a comprehensive architectural design and BIM documentation package for a 40’ x 80’ residential plot in Islamabad, strictly adhering to Capital Development Authority (CDA) zoning regulations.
Key Engineering Scope
- CDA By-Law Compliance: Implemented mandatory front, rear, and side setbacks, floor area ratios (FAR), and allowable covered area restrictions.
- Parametric 3D BIM Model: Built the virtual structure in Autodesk Revit, developing detailed walls, floor slabs, custom staircases, and window schedules.
- Architectural Documentation: Extracted coordinated drawing sets including dimensioned floor plans, elevations, wall sections, and room area schedules.
- Spatial Optimization: Organized functional family living zones, master bedrooms, cross-ventilation light wells, and covered car porch spaces.
